while not really representing a flood for me, this album simulates a deep ocean and beach like setting. Flood I representing the water as you look at it, Flood II representing floating or swimming in shallow waters, Flood III representing swimming in deep water or in an ocean with great waves, and Flood IV representing drowning from a 3rd person perspective. Not sure why Flood I gets to me so much; the slow descend into madness hearing the same riff over and over again, almost paralyzing, brings out this beauty and fear that is most definitely how I feel about the ocean.
